What can I do to help?

We accept all forms of help, and respect that our volunteers and friends each have their own comfort level.

Get involved!  You can volunteer by calling or stopping by our offices, learning more about volunteer opportunities, and registering with us.

Food donations are always appreciated.  Nonperishable foods and frozen foods are gratefully accepted.  Please call our offices first so that we can be prepared for your delivery- especially for frozen or perishable foods.

Do you know of Foundations or Corporate Giving programs that align with our Mission?  We are always looking for like-minded “Friends” that are interested in collaborating and supporting our efforts to “…help feed the needy”.

We have several friend-raising and fundraising events throughout the year.  Check our Calendar of events and become an event sponsor.  We are happy to promote businesses and similar nonprofit interests that align with our community.

Our success depends on the works of volunteers, the wisdom of our trustees, and the wealth of our friends.  Become a friend and make a donation to Br. Dan’s Food Pantry.  If the spirit moves you, please stop by our office and pay us a visit during business hours.

Lastly, we accept prayers from all denominations.  Keep the prayers for those in need, and for our ability to provide them with food, coming!

How do I become a client?

Come in to our office at 415 State Street and sign-up, Tuesday mornings from 9-12 p.m.  All we need is your name, the number of people in your family that need assistance, and where you are located locally.  We can also direct you to other area resources for further assistance based on your need.  Once you are a client, we ask that you do not use any other pantry for additional food resources.

When are you open?

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. we are here distributing food to the needy.  Usually, our administrative team is available before and after on those days.  And, often we are around the office at odd hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays… please call first on those days.

Welcome to Br. Dan’s!
